Stampin’ Up’s OnStage Event – Hartford, CT

I just got back from a fantastic whirlwind trip to Hartford, CT, to attend OnStage!  OnStage is a Stampin’ Up event where they eventually release the new catalog and shower us with love, fresh and new ideas, as well as gifts from that new catalog!  Woohoo!  This year was the first time I was invited to attend CentreStage.  CentreStage is a special dinner the evening before OnStage for those demonstrators who are Silver Elite and above!  HUGE shout out to my team for helping me reach this goal and be able to attend this year!IMG_8807

It was an 80’s themed party so here I am sporting some neon, humongous earrings, fishnet fingerless gloves, ponytail to the side, and a lovely headband!  🙂

Stampin’ Up knows how to party so of course we had table centrpieces and gifts (I LOVE THAT COWBELL!!!)  Those of you who attend my classes may get to hear that cowbell if I need to get your attention!  🙂

We had a delicious Italian buffet dinner and I had my first cannoli and also some Tiramisu!  YUM!

Later in the evening, I organized a swap between fellow demonstrators for new card ideas!  I had over 60 ladies join in on the swap!  Here’s a photo of me and some of us getting ourselves organized…chaotically organized!  Totally fun!

What a fun time!  I love spending valuable time catching up with fellow demonstrators, meeting new friends who love doing what I do, and crafting together!  What a fun time!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stampin’!

Picture Perfect Party Suite

On one of the first pages of the Occasions catalog, I fell head over heels with the colors and fun real-life images in the party suite!  How can you not sense the party here with these vibrant colors?  Today I’m showcasing a card that you can put the Designer Series Paper to good use and use the 6″ x 6″ paper efficiently.  Each of these cards uses only a 3″ x 3″ piece of the DSP so with each sheet you’ll be able to make 4 cards!  I rarely use the precious 6″ x 6″ DSP for a full card front to save on paper and have less (or NO!) waste.

Enjoy mixing and matching the patterns of this paper to create as many different designs as you like!

Lots of Happy Card Kit

First of all, I hope each and every one of you had a wonderful Easter celebration with family.  I sure had a great Easter with both sides of my family.  And, the boys got way too much candy from all their favorites!  😉

I love how easy, beautiful and fun to put together Stampin’ Up’s kits are!  And, the Lots of Happy card kit in this year’s Occasions is no exception!  The black and white outlines are super easy to color in using the special, only found in this kit, watercolor pencil colors.  I love the detail and designs of these cards.  Black and white accents have always appealed to me and these are just perfect!

IMG_8731

Do you enjoy the variety in Stampin’ Up’s kits?  What’s the last kit you put together?  I can’t wait to get my hands on another kit or maybe I’ll just have to wait until my next Paper Pumpkin comes!

I’m offering a new shopping incentive for using my hostess code in April!  This time, if you place an order of $30 and use my April Host code, you’ll receive a free pack of Stampin’ Dimensionals as my thank you!

Thanks and Happy Stamping!

Cake Soiree Birthday Card

Today I’d like to bring to a super sweet birthday card with one of my favorite In-Colors at the moment: Berry Burst.  And it just so happens to be MY BIRTHDAY today!  Woohoo!

Doesn’t this color look fantastic with that yummy cake?  And, it uses hints of the Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit to add just the right amount of fun!

This card features a bunch of embellishments: mini sequin trim, tassels, ribbon, pieces from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit…Do you like to feature embellishments on your cards?  What’s your favorite way to make your card stand out?

Be You-nicorn Card

I told that I’ve been having fun with this Magical Mates bundle right?  Seriously, it’s been so fun to play around with.  This is another one of my “bin cards.”  I found many of these pieces in my extras bin and created a fun unicorn card with it!  Hope you like this pretty unicorn card!

Of course, I couldn’t resist using the Blends to color in and shadow my little unicorn friend.  Isn’t she pretty?  I think she kind of looks like she’s showing off with her eye closed and head tilted back like that.  What do you say?  haha

A reminder also that it’s one of the last days to take advantage of Sale-a-bration and also to get my free gift to you with purchase! Shop here: Megan’s Online Shop

Beautiful Peacock Meets Celebrate You Thinlets

This beautiful creation started with some scraps from my bin!  I keep a small plastic container beside my BigShot and if I don’t have a lot to run through I’ll usually run an extra diecut or two through and then throw them in the container afterwards to hopefully inspire a complete creation sometime.  And, most of these items were in that plastic container!  Woohoo for using up odds and ends!

IMG_8750

This card is a combo of the saying and background bits from the Beautiful Peacock Stamp Set and the Celebrate You thinlets.  Both of these items are still available as freebies from SAB with a $50 or $100 purchase!

IMG_8751

I like to think of this card of a reminder of how God creates beautiful things out of what we sometimes see as a mess.  Our God is a big God!  Amen?

Joyfully Yours,

Megan

BRUSHO meets Rose Wonder

IMG_8706

I just love this pairing of our new Brusho with the Rose Wonder die cut image!  What do you think?  It’s a little artsy, and not at all hard to do with the new Brusho powders.

Watch all about Brusho here: Stampin’ Up Brusho Video

Super, super easy to accomplish, but with WOW results!  Who doesn’t love that?

To use the Brusho, simply tap some powder in the general areas that you want the rose color, then the leaf color.  Spritz with the Stampin’ Spritzer and allow to air dry.  If you would like to use the Heat Tool to speed up the drying process, feel free!  Then I would use the Fine Tip Glue pen to adhere the rose die cut image onto your card.  Finally, do your stamping LAST so the spritzing doesn’t make it run.

Enjoy!

Don’t forget my March special….

Petal Palette From the Heart Card

Today I’m bringing you a card from my most popular, by far, bundle of the Occasions catalog!  The Petal Palette Bundle!  It has such sweet and soft images that are fun to stamp as solid or to color in.  IMG_8720

I just love stamping sayings on cards that are good for many occasions.  This would make a perfect card for many such occasions.  Who would you send this card to?

Let the Good Times Roll – Stampin’ Up

IMG_8697

I’ve got a doozy of a card for you today!  This one features the Let the Good Times Roll bundle and lots of bright colors!  Wouldn’t this just be the highlight card for a little person’s birthday!?!?! 😉  Or at least I’d like to think so!  hahaIMG_8698

The inside pop-out mechanism can be a little tricky to put together, but if you watch the YouTube video made by Stampin’ Up, you’ll be in a lot better shape: Let the Good Times Roll Video  Ultimately, I had a super fun time making this card and it will be feature at my upcoming Fancy Frills class on Friday!  I hope the ladies love making this card!

IMG_8700

Don’t forget all March orders are eligible not only for Sale-a-bration goodies, but also for a FREE gift from me if using the hostess code!  The fun adhesive backed sequins were used to decorate the front of my card!
