I’m sure I’ve said this before, but a guy card is sometimes so hard to do! And, I always love when Stampin’ Up comes out with brand new “guy” sets and “guy” paper. I put guy in quotes only because I’m sure you could use this set and paper for other occasions, but in my mind, the first thing that enters is “GUY CARD POTENTIAL!” And, they nailed it on this one!
I loved pairing it with the Stitched Framelits to get a neat edge on the square! This would make a perfect Birthday, Father’s Day, or Congrats card for a man in your life…
Hello and welcome to our Sale-a-Bration Blog Hop with the RemARKable team of stampers.
I decided to have a little fun with the Sale-A-Bration set called Tasty Trucks! Cupcakes are one of my favorite things and so I couldn’t resist them in this stamp set. I thought it paired spectacularly with the Party Animal Designer Series Paper so I went with that color palette.
I wanted my greeting to look like it was the exhaust from the truck, so I positioned it wavy instead of straight. Remember that’s a bonus we get with our photopolymer stamps! They’re flexible and totally more positionable!
That’s my project! Why don’t you continue your hopping and head on over to Candice’s page to see what she’s got happening: Candice’s Blog

OK, folks. I could do go on and on about how much I love Stampin’ Up’s embossing folders. How they add so much to a project, but are so easy to use. How they bring a whole new dimension to a card or project. But, let me just tell you about the absolutely brand new embossing folders from the Occasions catalog. This set of 2 embossing folders create a de-bossed effect perfect for stamping over with a solid image, such as the balloon in this card.
Here’s the image of the two folders from the Stampin’ Up website. One says “celebrate” in a cutesy script-y font while the other one says “HAPPY” in a more bold font.
So what do you think? Are you a fan? You might just need to order them and play with them to see! 😉
Do you happen to make your own Valentine’s day cards for loved ones or maybe even for your kiddo’s friends? I like the romantic-ness of Valentine’s Day even though my hubby calls is a “made up holiday.” Haha! This Valentine I’ve created for today is perfect for the romantic in you! I’ve created the background lining up all the stamps in the Delicate Details Stamp Set from the SAB catalog…see all the fabulous options available for free with every $50 in orders:
Perfectly simple Valentine…CHECK!
I really had some motivation to make a special valentine for a special little girl yesterday morning! My niece! I want to make a hedgehog out of little hearts…and here’s what I created. Do you think I have a chance of it not being destroyed?!?! haha
The Proverbial Stampers are at it again with the January Color and Sketch Challenge and this time here was our challenge:
Using that Sketch and Color palette, I created the card below using the Cool Treats stamp set and framelit set! I LOVE shaker cards so with the Sprinkle Embellishmet set, it was so easy.
OK, I’m so excited to be joining some fellow RemARKables who are working on crafting their way to Alaska in 2018 on this blog hop to tell the Stampin’ Up world about our favorites in the new Occasions Catalog.
I must admit, though, for this hop we were supposed to pick our Occasions 2017 catalog must have! And, for me, that changes like the weather in PA! 🙂 This week as I prep for some Valentine offerings later this month and early in February, the Sending Love suite has been my go-to. What a fun and unique framelits set as well.
My absolute favorite framelit in the entire set is the teeny-tiny envelope! I’m sure I will use it again and again and not just with the coordinating stamp set either.
OK, on to my card for today’s hop. I wanted to make it look like hearts and love and everything Valentine-y was exploding out of the tiniest little envelope! And that edgelit….OH MY! Super fun and adds just the right touch of red peeking through that will also show when the card is opened.
Thanks for checking out my post! Be sure to visit the rest of the talented folks on this hop as well. Your next stop is Jen Guarino’s blog at: Faith Grace Stamp
