Terrariums are so in right now.  Which is why I’m crushing on this set from Stampin’ Up!  Isn’t it cute?  And, no need to color in the plants, you can just stamp the greens in with the additional stamps.

Jar of Love Strawberry Jam Card

Yes, another Jar of Love card.  With many more to come I’m sure!  So versatile.  The same friend who had the workshop a little while ago brought my family some strawberry jam when she came to close her workshop.  How SWEET!  So I made her this thank-you card to send to thank her for that jam and for her workshop.

Swirly Bird with Blooms and Bliss Paper

EVERYONE, it seems like everyone, is raving about this Swirly Bird Stamp set with framelits.  And, it is super fun to play with.  If you’ve done any searching on Pinterest for this set, I’m sure you’ve been overwhelmed and overjoyed at the many possibilities awaiting you with this set.

I worked up this card for a friend’s workshop party this past weekend and I think it turned out pretty cute.  Like a little wreath adorned with the flowers in the set!  So fun!

IMG_6995

A fun tip with this card.  There are many things to cut out with the framelits: the flowers, the wreath, the leaves; it can be a little time consuming.  I punched out the littlest flower, the one in blushing bride, with the 1/2 inch circle punch.  That saved me two runs through the Big Shot!  Win!  So, if you have that punch, I recommend using that instead.

Here’s what you’ll need:

142353 Swirly Bird Photopolymer Bundle ($46.75)

141610 Badges and Banners Clear Mount Stamp Set ($19.00)

141415 Sweet Sugarplum Classic Stampin’ Pad ($6.50)

126953 Old Olive Classic Stampin’ Pad ($6.50)

131172 Blushing Bride Classic Stampin’ Pad ($6.50)

141418 Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock ($8.00)

131201 Pear Pizzazz Cardstock ($8.00)

119686 Early Espresso Cardstock ($8.00)

141654 Blooms and Bliss Designer Series Paper ($11.00)

104430 Stampin’ Dimensionals ($4.00)

119869 1/2″ Circle Punch ($6.00)

141483 Duet Banner Punch ($18.00)

113439 Big Shot ($110.00)

Sweet Cupcake Bundle Guy Birthday Card

My first instinct (ALWAYS) is to go girl-y on every single card I made.  But, I broke out of my usual box to create a great card for anyone!  The blues in this card pair perfectly with the rich chocolate icing on the top of that cupcake.  Looks good enough to eat, doesn’t it?

IMG_6999

The cupcake set is a layering set, which I love, because it creates wonderful depth and texture that you wouldn’t get with a single stamp.  Here are the layers I created.

For the cupcake liner, I used:

  1. Night of Navy
  2. Dapper Denim
  3. Marina Mist

For the chocolate icing, I use:

  1. Early Espresso
  2. Soft Suede
  3. Crumb Cake

Isn’t it just delicious?  Hope you love it like I do!

One tip I have for you is to make sure when you stamp your first liner stamp (the Night of Navy one) onto your Very Vanilla paper that you keep it to the right because it only shades that side of the liner.  The rest of the liner will appear to the left, so to keep it centered, this is needed!

IMG_7001

Here’s what you’ll need:

142232 Sweet Cupcake Photopolymer Bundle ($43.00)

126970 Night Of Navy Classic Stampin’ Pad ($6.50)

141394 Dapper Denim Classic Stampin’ Pad ($6.50)

126975 Crumb Cake Classic Stampin’ Pad ($6.50)

126974 Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad ($6.50)

126978 Soft Suede Classic Stampin’ Pad ($6.50)

126962 Marina Mist Classic Stampin’ Pad ($6.50)

119682 Marina Mist Cardstock ($8.00)

141414 Dapper Denim Cardstock ($8.00)

101650 Very Vanilla Cardstock ($8.50)

141645 Moroccan Nights Designer Series Paper ($11.00)

141708 Layering Squares Framelits Dies ($35.00)

104430 Stampin’ Dimensionals ($4.00)

113439 Big Shot ($110.00)

November OnStage Display Board Stampers Application

Sorry, followers, for the total lack of posts recently!  I’ve been totally absorbed with new catalog stuff and my application for my latest venture.  Stampin’ Up asked for display board stampers for the November 2016 OnStage event so I was totally up to the challenge!  Free product and display at the event, plus a shopping spree…I’m game!  So, please feel free to show the love on this post, I can use all the encouragement you can give! 🙂  Thanks friends!

So the application requirements were 3 card fronts, 1 scrapbook page, and 2 3D projects.  Let’s start with the cards.

I HAD to do something with the pineapple background stamp.  So here’s the first card.  Love the added texture with the linen thread and that adorable little bow paper clip.

IMG_6978

On to the second card…when I saw this Layering Love set, I immediately knew I wanted to use this particular saying on a baby card.  Because, indeed, the smallest things do take up the most room in your heart.

IMG_6981

And last but not least, the hummingbird card from the Picture Perfect.  Paired with the Botanical Suite of products, I think it turned out beautifully.

IMG_6926

Hope you enjoyed looking at them as much as I enjoyed making them!

Scrapbook page is up next…I loved working on this page because it brought back such fond memories of being at the beach with my family.

IMG_6967

And the 3D projects.  First up a “Thinking of You” treat bag.

IMG_6974

Lastly, a fun little gift box made using the gift box punch board.  With the glitzy paper, I thought wedding first thing.  I was so happy with the copper thread and the copper embossing powder.  It totally spruced up the end result.

OK, thanks friends, for sticking with me through this…And now it’s off to Stampin’ Up for judging.  Wish me luck!

Joyfully Yours,

Megan
