I’m still at OnStage, in fact, the event is all day today!!! Woohoo! I thought I’d show you another one of my swaps for the event. This time, it’s a Pop and Twist Pivot Card. That’s a mouthful, huh? Well, I created this one for a Fancy Folds swap. I just can’t wait to see what creations I swap these beauties for!
Here’s the front of the card. Cute, yes! But, pretty standard. haha
But, inside is where the magic happens!
The insides of the card are folded in such a way that it twists and pivots around to create a inside panel that pops out! So fun!
Above are the measurements from: Pop and Twist Pivot Card She does a fantastic job explaining the procedure!. The only change I made was that my card measures the same as a standard card, 4 1/4 x 11 not 4 x 12.
I’m headed off today to Richmond, VA, to gather with a bunch of other Stampin’ Up demonstrators at a conference. Conference really isn’t the right word for what it is, PARTY is more like it! We’re gathering to view the brand new Occasions catalog, brainstorm some new business ideas, swap cards, and STAMP, of course!!!
I wanted to share with you today one of my swaps for the event. I joined 4 organized swaps and also made some 3D projects and general swaps for whomever!!! This is part of the fun. Before the event starts on Saturday morning, demonstrators who have created swaps walk around, meet new people, and ask “Are you swapping?” Then we leave with as many designs as we created, different ones, while we only made like 45 of one design. Well, I made 45, others make more or less! SO STINKIN’ FUN!
I generally get bored making too many of the same exact card, so I switched this one up by doing different color backgrounds!
Hope you enjoy! Would you swap with me?!?!? 🙂
This is definitely one of my favorite stamp sets currently! It’s called Perfect Mix and it features lots of kitchen-y sayings and things that of course I would LOVE since I’m a baker at heart. 🙂
I have for you today a set of quick and easy notecards featuring this stamp set. They are so fun to put together and you could easily do a whole stack of them for a gift or for yourself. Also, I know the glimmer paper sold out very quickly from Sale-a-bration and many of us, I’m including myself here, were sad. But, did you know we have some color glimmer paper included in the annual catalog? This Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper is sold year-round! Woohoo! I can hear some of you cheering now. ;-
So, which of these greetings do you like the best? I think my favorite is the “you’re grate” because it’s a little more versatile in whom you could send it out to!
This card was totally not my original idea, but I found it on the inter-webs. Haha. I got the idea from Dawn of DOStamping. You can see her original idea here if you like: Dawn’s Blog. I loved your card so much!
Here’s my version:
Love this textured embossing folder called Hexagon. I will say that I was corrected at my class by one of my fellow crafters. She let me know (so kindly!!!) that indeed this was NOT a honeybee. (I knew that, but thought I would go with it.) She also said that this honeycomb is not correct either, the orientation is off a bit. (I didn’t know that, but for our card purposes, I’m going with it!)
Hope you can get over the wrong-ness of this card and instead enjoy its beauty! haha
Hi friends! Thanks for joining me today on this lovely Spring blog hop with many other Stampin’ Up demonstrators around the globe.
I’ve decided to use a product that is not orderable at the moment, but will be shortly and I’m hoping to gain some interest in this one because it’s just perfect for the Easter holiday we have coming up soon. These mini egg cartons are currently unavailable, but will be opening up to orders very shortly, on March 20. They are item #142776 and are $8 for 8 cartons! So fun! I’m sure you’ll want to grab yours soon after that so you’ll have them in time to decorate for all your Easter festivities!
I found some cute little chocolate carrots in the bulk section of Wegman’s this week and decided to make a box to hold them. Here it is:
And, here’s the inside. I positioned my carrots in some faux soft suede dirt and some more burlap ribbon with the little bunny peeking from behind the back carrot. Simple, but cute!
I hope you enjoyed my project!
