OK, here is my second installment for the #Alaska2018 Blog Hop! A blog hop full of aspiring Stampin’ Up demonstrators working hard to earn that cruise to Alaska!
To me, November is all about falling leaves, enjoying the crisp and cool air, and pumpkins. Better yet, pumpkin pie! That was my inspiration for this card featuring the circle framelits and the all NEW Stitched Shapes Framelits available November 1-30. Stampin’ Up has announced that these framelits will also be available in the annual catalog beginning in June, but seriously, who can wait that long?!!?
Yum, my favorite part of the traditional Thanksgiving meal all summed up in one card! 🙂 These stitched framelits make putting together a card super simple…give a dressed up look with minimal effort.
I used the second smallest stitched circle framelit and the largest stitched square framelit. And, the Everyday Jar Framelits may seem like a mistake in the “ingredient list” posted below, but it’s not! The tiniest little flower framelit creates our whipped topping on the top of our slice of pumpkin pie!
Hope you enjoyed!
Right now, today, I am in Secaucus, NJ, with many other fellow Stampin’ Up demonstrators for a conference where we get access to lots of fun make and takes, get to see the new Occasions catalog premiering in January, and meet many new friends! We also have the chance to swap cards with other demos! Talk about pressure! I spent so much time creating the design for my swap card and I wanted it to be just PERFECT! Here is what I went with…
There were a few phases along the way, card-base color, background stamp and greeting placement. I finally came up with the design I liked best and made 25 of the same. Well, actually, my mom helped, too! 🙂
Hope you like the little birdies….aren’t they so fun laying all over one another in a heap of goodness!
OK, are you as taken with the copper trend as I am? I am completely and utterly obsessed with the new copper foil paper and washi tape and embossing powder. Like seriously, this card that I’m showing you today uses all THREE and it couldn’t be more perfect together. Ummm, I mean FOUR, because I just noticed that it also uses the Copper Thread. So, yes, I’d say obsessed is more like it.
This card is super special because it’s a shaker card so the sparkles in the circle behind the greeting shake around and create a snow-storm! Woohoo! I’m almost ready for that in real life, almost. I mean, it is November!
So are you all loving the copper items?? Which one is your favorite? Let me know by commenting on this post to win yourself some Copper Thread! One person who comments will win the Copper Thread. Entries must be submitted by November 4. Winner chosen November 5.
