Something for Baby Card

I was motivated by a large card order from one of the stores that carries my cards to make some baby cards.  I knew I wanted something a little edgy, a little more brightly colored than your typical baby card.  Paired with black and white, I chose Melon Mambo for my girly baby card and Mint Macaron for my boyish baby card.  Confession time: I chose Melon Mambo and Mint Macaron because I knew that I wanted to use the matching Baker’s Twine Combo Pack in the Occasions Catalog for a clothesline.  Seriously, though, this Something for Baby Set has the cutest little baby things ever and paired with the die cuts can be cut out to perfection!  Lovin’ the polka dotted tie for the boy!

And, I just love how they turned out.   I think the brightness gives them the spunk that I anticipated them having!  🙂
